5 tips for caring for your little kiddo kurls!
When it comes to taking care of your little one's hair, remember that your child's hair maintenance is just as important as your own hair maintenance. Sometimes as parents we want an easy approach to our children's mane and with that said here are a few tips to ensure you child's hair is at it's healthiest state.
1. If your child is older than six years old, I recommend that you consult with a professional hair stylist about his/her weekly or biweekly maintenance
2. Choose a kid friendly shampoo that's sulfate free and gentle on your child's hair. Also, be sure to choose a shampoo that is tears free.
3 The same goes when choosing a conditioner (tear free) and gentle on the hair to be sure it's replenishing and locking in the natural oils
4. Deep condition your child's hair at least one time per month. This will ensure the natural texture is always soft and vibrant
5. Stay away from oily products and creams, those products tends to way the hair down and clog the pores.
I also recommend shampooing and conditioning your child's hair bi-weekly. If your child wear natural styles such as cornrows, be sure to clean their scalp and use a light moisturizer.
Until next time loves, be blessed and amazing!
